"Easy and Stress-Free Shopping"
I was relieved by how easy the website was to use. I found what I needed quickly, and checkout went smoothly without any annoying problems. The product pages were clear enough that I felt confident about what I was buying, which made the whole experience feel simple and stress-free. Overall, it was a good experience

"Sample options are a bit hit or miss"
I do like that they offer samples for some ingredients because it makes it easier to try things before committing to a bigger size. That said, it’s kind of hit or miss. A few items I wanted either didn’t have sample sizes available or were out of stock. The site is still fine overall, I just wish the sample availability was more consistent.

"Pretty happy with these"
I grabbed a few things for some DIY skincare stuff I’ve been messing around with, and they seemed really clean. No weird smell or filler-type vibe, at least from what I could tell. Everything blended in fine with the other ingredients I was using too. I’m kind of picky about this stuff, so I was relieved it felt legit. I’ll probably order again when I run out

Had to try placing the order twice because the first time didn’t really seem to go through or something, but after that it worked fine. Not a huge deal, just a little annoying for a minute.

They’ve got a really good range of ingredients for DIY stuff. I found a few things I couldnt seem to get anywhere else, which was a nice surprise. The site has loads to choose from too, so ordering was easy for me.

Overall, the trust factor feels okay to me, but I do wish it was clearer who actually owns or manages things. It’s a bit frustrating when you’re trying to understand who’s responsible and the details aren’t easy to find.

A few of the items I was looking for were out again, which was kind of frustrating. I get that this happens sometimes, but it’s a little annoying when you go in expecting to grab that stuff and it’s just not there.

"Good quality ingredients overall"
i mean, I ordered a few ingredients from MakingCosmetics to make some lotions, and overall I was happy with them. The oils and emulsifier seemed fresh and worked the way I expected in my small batches. I’m giving 4 stars because one of the powders was a little clumpy, but once I broke it up it mixed in just fine. I’d order from them again.

I did end up getting the certificates and paperwork I needed, so it wasn’t a total problem. But I had to dig around more than I expected, and some of the info just wasn’t very clear. I kept looking for the same details in different places, and it still felt confusing. It worked out in the end, but the whole process felt kind of clunky and not very clear. Average experience overall

I reached out to makingcosmetics.com about an issue with a product, and their technical support did get back to me and answer my questions. It just took a little longer than I was expecting, haha. The first reply was helpful enough, but not super detailed, so I had to follow up to get a clearer answer. Overall, not a bad experience, but there’s definitely room for improvement...

"Finally found the good stuff without buying a warehouse full"
I make small batches of lotions, and it feels weirdly impossible to find certain ingredients unless you’re ready to buy enough to supply a secret underground skincare lab. Not saying big suppliers are trying to keep the little lotion makers down... but it does make you wonder. Anyway, MakingCosmetics had pretty much everything I needed, including a few extracts and emulsifiers I couldn’t find anywhere local. Ordering was simple, everything showed up clearly labeled, and the prices seemed fair. I’ll definitely be back when I run out.

They’ve got some solid bulk options, which I liked, especially if you’re trying to stock up and save a bit. Reading between the lines though, the shipping cost kind of eats into the deal, so it’s worth checking the total before getting too excited.
